Oil Lamp Theater’s beloved and quickly growing education program is stepping out from behind the curtains and into its own spotlight! 

Our community is full of families and individuals seeking enrichment experiences that feel intentional, inspiring, and polished. Oil Lamp Academy fills that need with high-quality arts education that’s accessible, uplifting, and connected to the professional theater ecosystem.

I loved Oil Lamp's Education offerings before. What is staying the same? 

We’re not a “traditional academy” focused solely on technique; we’re building a space where the arts shape more well-rounded, confident, and connected individuals. By reframing the idea of an “academy,” we’re embracing the prestige of the word without the pretense. This is still a welcoming, growth-centered environment that reflects Oil Lamp’s signature warmth and creativity.

We will still be offering training for life through the performing arts. From Pre-K to seniors, novice to theater afficianado, there will always be something for everyone at Oil Lamp Academy. Our fan-favorite teachers will be continuing to teach our most popular courses. We will continue to strive to be your home for the performing arts in downtown Glenview.
