Oil Lamp Theater is dedicated to expanding its collaborative network by actively seeking talented actors, emerging playwrights, and skilled production team members to bring fresh perspectives and creativity to our stage. Play Submission Guidelines

  • Only one submission is accepted per playwright in a given year. We will reach out to you if we are interested in reading additional pieces. 

  • Submissions must be full-length plays. We are not accepting one-acts currently.

  • Plays must require no more than 8 actors to perform and playwrights must provide a casting plot for larger casts that require doubling.

  • Please provide any development histories and production rights including, but not limited to: workshops, readings, former/current/upcoming productions, etc.

  • Playwrights must submit a brief synopsis of the play and character breakdown.

  • Full scripts and info may be submitted as a pdf using THIS link.
