BRING THE ARTS TO A NEW HOME

Oil Lamp Theater is a not-for-profit professional sixty-seat storefront theater in the heart of Downtown Glenview’s revitalization efforts. After a dozen years in our home, we are urgently pursuing a strategic plan, supported by a pro bono consultant team of seven, to solidify our place in the community, ensure the future of the arts, and serve as a key to sustaining the local economy.

Our plan centers around a 11,000 sq ft arts facility that quadruples our impact, turning one of the 'North Shore’s Best Hidden Gems' (TripAdvisor) into a cultural beacon, attracting 60% of its 40,000+ visitors from beyond Glenview. This $6M project works with the nationally-renowned theatre specialists, Morris Architects Planners, to create an intimate 150+ seat theatre venue, an arts education studio and rehearsal space, and a versatile lobby/event-area-

all under one roof.
